How the sliding scale works

Who qualifies for reduced pricing?

Everyone. There's no application, no means test, no verification.

If the top of the scale is hard for you, pay less. If $0 still feels like too much, abortion funds can help. This is self-attestation — you know your situation better than we do.

How this compares to other telehealth providers

Many telehealth providers of abortion pills in the US charge between $300 and $475 for the full package of consultation, medications, and shipping. That's a flat fee — you pay the full amount regardless of what you can afford.

Abortion fund assistance

Abortion funds are independent nonprofits — separate from Roxy — that cover the cost of care for people who need financial help. In many of the 14 states we serve, local funds can cover the full cost of your consultation and medications.

No one is turned away

For most patients in most states, no special action is required — complete the intake and pick any amount from $0 to $150, including $0. If cost is still a barrier, let us know. In one state where we currently have a direct fund partnership (with more possible in the future), we'll connect you with an abortion fund that covers the cost on your behalf. In every state, our Resources page also lists abortion funds you can reach on your own. We have never turned someone away because they couldn't pay.
